Say So Impact in Emergency Services and the Care Sector

By |

It has been a busy year for Say So, in the emergency services sector! We now have launched at 13 Fire and Rescue Services across the UK with East Sussex FRS being the latest to join our group of public services who have an independent and impartial speak up service in place.

This week we have briefed 150 firefighters and staff personally or by online video and our relationship team will be planning more visits to workplaces in the coming months.

Our mission is to make workplaces the best they can be by helping to identify and raise issues that are important to staff but are otherwise difficult to be voiced and heard.

CFO Dawn Whittaker said openly on a group online video call that the reason Say So was chosen for her service was their personal visits to workplaces - going that extra mile to build trust and confidence. We look forward to meeting more great people soon.

In the care sector, the number of care homes and services with Say So in place continues to grow with Danforth Care extending its care home portfolio and Towerview Care re-opening a care facility too. Care staff continue to amaze us with the work that they do to look after the ladies and gentleman and our relationship team are made welcome where-ever they travel to. We are pleased to have renewed contracts with all our care sector clients with Borough Care's CEO Mark Ward commenting -

'Borough Care has been working with Say So for over a year and we are extending their contract because through the Say So process we have come to understand more about our staff and our business. This has enabled us to maintain standards and address issues before they become critical. With Say So in place we have been provided more opportunities to remove conflict and improve efficiencies in the workplace. Say So reps speak to all our staff and new starters are provided with a briefing about Say So as part of their initial training. This personal approach makes a great difference.'
